Exceptional Horse Care Begins with a
Thoughtfully Designed Facility
"Build a strong foundation and you can reach even the most unthinkable heights."
- MJ Moores

Competitive show jumping begins long before entering the ring. It starts at home.

At the heart of our program is a commitment to consistent, attentive, and informed horse care. Our unique approach is rooted in time-tested principles that have been practiced - and proven - by generations of horsemen and horsewomen.
Our facility, Timberline Meadows, plays a key role in our ability to deliver meticulous, customized care. Nestled on 18 serene acres in the forested foothills southeast of Oregon City, this property is a professionally designed equestrian center built to foster a peaceful yet engaging environment for horses and equestrians alike.

As you explore the property, you will witness our continuous effort to reduce our carbon footprint, a variety of fruit trees, grape vines, vegetable gardens, and an eco-friendly pond that is fed by rainwater, which helps support our arena and plants. Solar panels on the front of the barn convert beautiful Oregon sunshine into renewable energy, while the large volume of compost we produce is provided to a local nursery.

Together, our program and facility provide a strong foundation, one that supports our goals while prioritizing the wellbeing our our equine partners - and future generations.
Hospitality
Each horse enjoys their own 12' x 12' stall, lined with rubber mats and bedded with clean shavings
Outdoor Ring
Measuring 100' x 200', our fully fenced outdoor arena is outfitted with Texstride Footing for stability and cushion
Trail
A 1km trail around the property - through trees, along grape vines, etc. - offers a relaxing warm-up or cool-down option
Indoor Ring
Measuring 80' x 204', our task-lit indoor provides variety for the horses and a safe, dry space to ride in the fall and winter
Eurociser
Our four-horse eurociser, or walker, facilitates rider-free exercise to support horses' fitness and/or rehabilitation
Reutilization
Our rainwater-fed pond is used to water our arena and plants, while our compost is given to a local nursery
Observation
Students' families are more than welcome to observe lessons from the comfort of the heated observation room
Footing
A horse's hooves form their literal foundation, which is why we regularly monitor & refresh the trails, paddocks, arenas, etc.
Clean Energy
Solar panels on the front entrance of the indoor convert Oregon sunlight into clean energy
